This Lunar new year is the year of the fire horse, which hasn’t happened in 60 years. I created this art as a collaboration with a fellow artist, Fletcher, because last year, the year of the snake was a year of changing my nervous system and how I relate to different situations in life and limiting beliefs. These are changed or being rewritten. I am also a horse in the Chinese zodiac, so this is a good way to few moving ahead and with passion and power and also the energy of fire. For me, this isn’t about belief in the zodiac as much as it is about belief in yourself and intention, wear this as a symbolic reminder to move in the direction you want.
The art on the front has the embroidered horse character written mirrored to normal which is considered good fortune, along with a horse bust. The back of the shirt is the collaboration with a large horse kanji by me surrounded by a fire horse by Fletcher Rickabaugh. You can buy this here or on his site until March 7th 2026.
