Nami Ryu Aiki Heiho is a classical martial art teaching the combat skills of the Samurai and adaptation to the modern world.
The curriculum includes the following:
Kenjutsu and Iaijutsu (Japanese Sword arts) - arts and classical weaponry (katana, wakizashi, tanto, naginata, etc.)
Aiki-jujutsu – the root art of modern Jujutsu and unarmed combat.
System of Strategy – Practical self-defense applications, strikes, boxing and firearms adaptation.

The Nami Ryu curriculum covers a wide range of bugei (Japanese martial arts), which encompass skills that were once necessary for the Samurai warrior class in the performance of their martial duties. These practical skills and teachings are applicable in modern times. I provide professional instruction in an environment of Courtesy, Integrity, Responsibility, and Self Discipline. Training with me will provide you with life skills that will allow you to realize your potential.
I train people ages 14 and up. Please contact us if you would like to join or come watch a class.
Whatever your experience level may be, I encourage you to schedule a time to observe or participate in a class. Just try something new.
